“Survivor” Scouts Dinagat Islands for Potential New Season

Producers of the popular reality show Survivor are considering the Dinagat Islands in the Philippines as a location for a potential upcoming season. They plan to conduct a scouting trip between December 2025 and January 2026 to explore remote and lightly inhabited areas of the province.

Local officials note that the Dinagat Islands offer rugged, pristine landscapes — the kind of environment that aligns perfectly with the Survivor series. Governor Nilo Demerey Jr. emphasized that this could be a significant opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of Dinagat to a global audience and boost eco-tourism.

The local government has pledged support for the project, assisting the production team with logistics and ensuring environmental considerations are addressed.
