The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has confirmed that the two overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) previously reported missing in Hong Kong have been found safe.
According to the DMW, both workers were located through the cooperation of Philippine authorities and Hong Kong officials. The agency thanked the local Filipino community for helping in the search and ensuring the workers’ safety.
The DMW emphasized that it remains committed to safeguarding the welfare of OFWs worldwide, urging Filipino workers abroad to stay connected with their embassies or consulates for assistance in times of emergency.
