
P-pop girl group BINI released a heartfelt apology on Thursday following the circulation of a controversial video involving some of its members. The clip, which showed what the group described as a private moment with friends, drew criticism online for allegedly containing an inappropriate sexual joke.
In a statement posted on social media, the group took full responsibility for their actions:
“We definitely did not intend to hurt anyone. We offer no excuses for our words, reactions, and behavior. Nagkamali kami.”
Acknowledging the disappointment and distress caused by the video, BINI expressed regret and apologized to fans, families, and the public. The group emphasized their desire to learn from the incident:
“We humbly ask for the chance to reflect, grow, and become better versions of ourselves. Maraming salamat po sa inyong malasakit, suporta, at pang-unawa.”
BINI is composed of eight members: Maloi, Jhoanna, Stacey, Colet, Aiah, Mikha, Sheena, and Gwen. The group has gained popularity for hits like “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin,” and is considered one of the rising stars of the P-pop scene
