In an emotional episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, actress Bianca De Vera temporarily exited the PBB house to bid farewell to her cherished pet dog, Peach, who recently passed away.
Bianca learned the heartbreaking news during a phone call with her mother. Peach, who had been in critical condition, had sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. Overcome with grief, Bianca broke down in tears in the confession room. PBB housemate Esnyr was sent in by “Kuya” to comfort her.
“Kuya” later offered Bianca the chance to see Peach one last time. The following afternoon, she left the house briefly, blindfolded and wearing earphones, to ensure no contact with the outside world. She was given five minutes alone with Peach and a brief 100-second reunion with her parents.
Holding back tears, Bianca expressed guilt for not being there during Peach’s final days, saying it felt like she left her behind. Her mother reassured her that Peach’s passing had a purpose, believing the beloved pet mirrored her emotions. Bianca, an only child, said she treated Peach like a sister and thanked her for giving her the chance to embrace her parents again.
