Mikael Daez couldn’t help but feel emotional as he and his wife, actress Megan Young, prepare to welcome their first child—a baby boy.
Sharing moments from a cozy maternity shoot on Instagram, Daez revealed that they included their beloved dogs, Soba and Chia, in the photos. “Boneezy [Young] wanted a maternity shoot, but I had one condition—Soba and Chia had to be in it,” he wrote, joking that the pups, dressed in diapers, “stole the show” with their cuteness.
The actor also admitted he’s feeling a bit sentimental about their growing family. “Although to be honest, it’s a bit emotional knowing our little family of four is about to become five,” he shared, adding the playful hashtag #ImNotCryingYoureCrying.
The photos show the couple dressed casually with matching “mom” and “dad” caps, beaming with joy. Another sweet set of snaps shows them admiring Young’s baby bump.
Meanwhile, Young shared her own pregnancy journey online, saying she’s been feeling more tired lately but makes an effort to dress up now and then because it lifts her mood.
The couple, who were together for nine years before tying the knot in 2020, announced their pregnancy in December 2024.
