BATANGAS – On April 10, 2025 at Summit Point Golf and Country Club, Harvard World MUN led a Golf Tournament co-presented by Rising Tigers Magazine, Zoomanity Group, Summit Point, and Steph’s Miracle Cattery.
The tournament commenced with a ceremonial tee off led by Andria Terese Nicolas, Robert Laurel Yupangco, Chanelle Avaricio, Benson Yu and Ezelle Gascon.
Andria Terese Nicolas shared her appreciation for the organization: “We are beyond grateful to launch this meaningful tournament, along with our co-presenters and Harvard MUN President Tyler for making this possible. This tournament is more than a game. It’s about facing the wind with quiet determination and standing over a tough shot with doubt in your mind. We play because it demands focus, resilience, and heart, and a good game of Golf can build leadership skills and character. It is one of the few games where your opponent can be your greatest supporter. But most importantly, this sport forms deep connections, to friends, and to ourselves.”
Tyler shared that the purpose of the tournament, sharing, “The 33rd Harvard World MUN’s Golf Tournament Fundraiser is for the benefit of the Philippine Federation of the Deaf—a remarkable organization that advocates for PWD rights and ensures that deaf individuals have access to education, employment opportunities, healthcare services, and more.”
