Herlene Budol is no stranger to criticism, but how does she feel when people call her “dumb”?
During Wednesday’s episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Herlene admitted that being labeled as such hurts.
“Ikaw ba naman, sabihan kang bobo, harap-harapan. Comment, behind your back, talagang sinasabi po sa akin bobo ako,” she shared.
Despite the negativity, Herlene chooses to turn these remarks into motivation for self-improvement.
“I just realized that I’m not the only one who doesn’t know everything. Lahat po. Shoutout nga pala sa mga bobo diyan. Marami tayo, tanggapin n’yo lang,” she jokingly said, referring to her Your Honor co-stars Buboy Villar and Tuesday Vargas.
A Positive Approach to Learning
Herlene openly acknowledges that there are many things she doesn’t know, but she also believes that everyone has gaps in their knowledge.
“Instead of calling me bobo, why not teach me? Then, if there’s something you don’t know, I’ll teach you too,” she said.
