Two suspects have been charged in connection with the explosion that damaged the car of photojournalist Michael Varcas in Quezon City last February 19.
According to a report by Super Radyo dzBB, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has filed arson charges against the suspects.
QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit chief Major Don Lapitan stated that one of the suspects was identified by a witness. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
Varcas, for his part, previously said he had no known conflicts or disputes related to his work as a photojournalist.
