Actor Xian Lim has officially earned his private pilot license, and his girlfriend, film producer Iris Lee, couldn’t be prouder.
Lim shared his achievement on Instagram on Thursday, January 30, posting snapshots of the moment he received his epaulette.
“It’s official! PRIVATE PILOT,” he wrote. “Still in the clouds from everything that happened.”
He expressed gratitude to his aviation school and instructors for their patience and inspiration, adding, “Next up, CPL (Commercial Pilot License)! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR everyone!”

Lee showed her excitement in the comments section, dropping a tearful emoji, a red heart, and an airplane emoji, along with a heartfelt message:
