Previous Reunion with Kaye Abad
Earlier, Garcia and Contis reunited with fellow Tabing Ilog cast member Kaye Abad. The three starred in the film A Journey, which follows a woman diagnosed with cancer who embarks on a road trip abroad with her husband and best friend instead of undergoing treatment.
Reflecting on the experience, Garcia shared, “It’s nice to bring back our friendship from Tabing Ilog. Knowing we’re going to be together, I wasn’t nervous. I’ve been gone for four years, but working with these two brought back so many memories.”
