Bea Alonzo Reflects on 2024 as the ‘Hardest Year’ of Her Life

MANILA – While finding peace and happiness in recent months, actress Bea Alonzo described 2024 as the “hardest year” she has ever faced.

In a conversation with celebrity doctor Aivee Teo, featured on Teo’s YouTube vlog on November 19, Alonzo opened up about the personal and professional challenges she endured this year, including calling off her engagement with actor Dominic Roque.

Emerging Stronger

Teo noted that Alonzo seemed content and at peace despite her tumultuous year. The actress credited her newfound happiness to embracing life’s uncertainties.

“I don’t know. Life happened. My God! This must be like the hardest year of my life,” Alonzo said.

Despite the difficulties, Alonzo highlighted her achievements as both an actress and entrepreneur in 2024. She shared that she was able to do more and finally struck a balance between her work and personal life.

“Maybe that’s why I’m much happier now because I get to live my life,” she added.

Life Lessons and Looking Ahead

Reflecting on her experiences, Alonzo shared an inspiring takeaway: “When things don’t go according to plan, maybe it’s better to trust God’s plan because God’s plans are always better.”

She also embraced the saying, “This too shall pass,” noting that both good and bad times are fleeting.

Looking to 2025, Alonzo said she has set clear goals and is determined to work aggressively toward achieving them.

“I will be really aggressive in putting in the work to achieve those goals,” she declared.

Through resilience and reflection, Alonzo has emerged from a challenging year with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism for what lies ahead.
