Actress Kylie Padilla recently shared a touching handwritten letter on Instagram for her young sons, Alas and Axl, encouraging them to be patient while she is away working. In her message, Padilla reassured her boys of her love and reminded them to be on their best behavior.
“Hi babies! Mama misses you. Always thinking of you,” she wrote, urging them to avoid arguments and be kind to their nannies. Alongside the letter, Padilla included some money for snacks, adding, “Konting tiis na lang sa work ni mama (Just be patient with mom’s work).”
The post touched many netizens, who praised her for balancing the demands of work and motherhood. Comments reflected admiration for her sacrifices, with one user recalling similar gestures from their own mother, also a working parent.
Padilla, who co-parents her sons with ex-husband Aljur Abrenica, regularly shares glimpses of her life with her children. Recently, she marked National Children’s Month by posting a cheerful video with them. Despite being on good terms as co-parents, Padilla affirmed that she and her kids are doing well on their own.
Padilla and Abrenica were together for six years before marrying in 2018, and they publicly confirmed their separation in 2021.
