MANILA — Jerald Napoles has finally revealed the story behind his heartfelt marriage proposal to longtime partner Kim Molina, sharing that he had four unsuccessful attempts before executing what he described as the “perfect” proposal.
During a recent episode of the “Comfort Room” podcast, Napoles recounted his elaborate efforts, starting with a plan to propose at the iconic Colosseum in Rome during a European vacation in July 2023. Unfortunately, work commitments derailed the plan. He then set his sights on Switzerland in December 2023, dreaming of a proposal at the breathtaking Zinal Cave. However, financial considerations prevented the trip.
His third attempt was at a Coldplay concert in Bangkok, February 2024, but Molina unexpectedly fell ill. Finally, he tried again with a plan to propose in Venice, Italy, but visa issues interfered. Despite the setbacks, Napoles found the perfect setting back home at the PETA Theater Center, where the couple first met.
Molina described the proposal as “very sentimental,” making the moment even more meaningful. The couple, who have been together for a decade, celebrated their engagement in August, surrounded by close friends and family
