A member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan and his driver were fatally shot in an ambush on Thursday afternoon in Malolos, Bulacan.
According to a report on “State of the Nation,” Ramil Capistrano, who also served as the head of the Association of Barangay Captains, was inside his SUV with his driver when unidentified gunmen attacked them around 5:30 p.m. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident to identify the suspects and the motive behind the ambush.
