
MANILA, Philippines — Manila Water is calling on residents across its East Zone concession area to prepare for its massive February 2026 desludging campaign.
As temperatures are expected to rise, the company emphasized that regular septic tank cleaning is critical to preventing foul odors, wastewater overflows, and potential health hazards. The service is part of Manila Water’s ongoing environmental management program and is provided at no additional cost to customers.
February 2026 Desludging Schedule Desludging teams will be deployed to the following areas throughout the month:
- Antipolo City: Santa Cruz, Bagong Nayon, and San Luis
- Cainta: San Juan
- Taytay: Sta. Ana
- Rodriguez (Montalban): Burgos and San Jose
- Marikina City: Industrial Valley Complex, Concepcion Uno, and Parang
- Quezon City: Bagong Pag-asa, Matandang Balara, Holy Spirit, San Roque, and Damayang Lagi
- San Juan City: Corazon de Jesus
- Pasig City: San Joaquin
Preparation Tips for Residents To ensure a smooth and efficient service, Manila Water Communication Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla reminds customers of the following:
- Locate the Tank: Identify the exact location of the septic tank on your property.
- Ensure Accessibility: Make sure the tank covers are readily accessible and can be easily removed before the team arrives.
- Coordinate Locally: Verify exact dates and times by coordinating with your respective barangay office or checking official Manila Water social media channels.
