Marcos Says He’s “Very Worried” About Imee, Insists the Woman on TV Is Not Her

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has voiced deep concern over his estranged sister, Senator Imee Marcos, after she made explosive public accusations against him and their family. He said what viewers saw on TV — the woman making those claims — “is not my sister,” a sentiment shared by their family and close friends.

Marcos added that he and relatives have been worried about her well-being. “That’s why we are very worried … I hope she feels better soon,” he said.

He also expressed reluctance to air private family matters publicly. “It’s anathema to me to talk about family matters … in public.”

When asked if he has spoken to Imee recently, he replied that they no longer move in the same circles — politically or personally.

In response, Imee challenged him to prove he’s wrong. “Bongbong, it’s me … Prove me wrong – I want to be proven wrong,” she wrote, denying any identity confusion.
