The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced it will deploy more than 15,000 personnel to secure the upcoming three-day rally organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo, scheduled from November 16 to 18 in Metro Manila.
Security officers will be stationed at key locations across the capital, including EDSA Shrine, Quirino Grandstand, Liwasang Bonifacio, Malacañang Park, and other major entry points and thoroughfares. The deployment will focus on crowd management, traffic coordination, and ensuring the event proceeds safely and orderly.
PNP leadership emphasized respect for the religious nature of the gathering and reaffirmed that their role is to provide safety and security for participants and nearby communities. They also urged the public to cooperate with traffic and security directives during the event.
