Over 150 researchers presented on topics such as extremophile organisms, prebiotic chemistry, and astrobiology.
Participants from the Philippines highlighted two key areas: one group discussed how Earth’s deep interior may have created complex organic compounds in high‑pressure fluids; another explored how atmospheric and surface conditions of other planets might support life‑like biochemistry.
