Four Arrested in Cavite Buy-Bust, ₱3.4 Million Worth of ‘Shabu’ Seized

Authorities in Cavite successfully apprehended four individuals during a coordinated buy-bust operation, confiscating suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (commonly known as “shabu”) valued at approximately ₱3.4 million.

The operation was conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 4-A together with local law enforcement units. The seized contraband is part of heightened enforcement efforts to disrupt illegal drug trade networks operating in Cavite and the surrounding areas.

The suspects are set to face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165), which carries significant penalties for trafficking and distribution of dangerous drugs. Authorities emphasized that operations like these remain a key part of the drug war strategy and serve as reminders of the consequences of involvement in illegal narcotics.
