Most parts of Luzon are expected to enjoy fair and generally dry weather this weekend, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its latest forecast, Pagasa said that a low-pressure area (LPA) and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to affect Visayas and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Residents in these areas are advised to remain alert for possible flash floods or landslides, especially in areas prone to such hazards.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, mostly in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) within the next few days. However, the public is urged to stay updated with the latest weather advisories, especially as the country transitions toward the cooler amihan season.
