Hungary has expressed satisfaction over the increasing number of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) choosing to work in the country, acknowledging their strong work ethic and positive contributions to local industries.
According to the Hungarian government, Filipino workers have become an essential part of sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality, and healthcare. Officials also noted that the Philippines and Hungary continue to strengthen their labor and diplomatic relations, ensuring that Filipino workers are treated fairly and given proper support while in the European nation.
The Philippine Embassy in Hungary likewise emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to promote safe, legal, and beneficial employment opportunities for Filipinos abroad.
With Hungary’s demand for skilled and reliable labor rising, the number of Filipinos working there is expected to grow even more in the coming years.
