
A young Philippine Serpent Eagle that had struck a roof in Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan City, was rescued and rehabilitated before being returned to its natural habitat on October 14, 2025.
Local wildlife officials confirmed that after initial treatment and monitoring, the eagle was cleared to be released. Its flight back into the forest was closely supervised to ensure it safely regained freedom.
