Fyang Smith Finds Her Voice with Debut EP: “Forever Fyang” Launch Ignites Her Confidence as a Singer

“Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” Big Winner Fyang Smith shared that launching her debut EP, Forever Fyang, helped her discover her potential as a singer.

The rising star hosted a successful album showcase at New Frontier Theater, joined by celebrity guests like Regine Velasquez, P-pop group 1621, and her onscreen partner JM Ibarra. The EP features tracks such as “Tayo Hanggang Dulo,” “Clingy AF,” “MISHU – Nasaan si Fyang?”, “Kaya Mo Ba,” and “Para Shoot.”

Speaking to the press, Smith admitted she was overwhelmed during the preparations. “It was all so nerve-racking, but the support of my fans and loved ones gave me the courage to push through,” she said. Notably, her father returned from overseas just to watch her perform live for the first time.

A standout moment during the event was her duet with Ibarra on “Tayo Hanggang Dulo,” which was met with cheers. Fans also playfully chanted Ibarra’s name after Smith’s solo performance of “Para Shoot.” Smith noted that their shared experience in performing made it easier to share the stage with him.

Ahead of the show, Ibarra visited Smith’s dressing room to offer words of encouragement. “He reminded me that I could do it—and that helped a lot,” she said.

Smith and Ibarra are also teaming up for an upcoming digital series titled Ghosting, continuing their chemistry from reality TV to the screen.
