Former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab housemate Shuvee Etrata opened up about the emotional fallout from her eviction, revealing she felt “betrayed” by fellow Kapuso artist AZ Martinez, who nominated her for eviction.
Etrata and her duo partner Klarisse de Guzman (dubbed ShuKla) were ousted from the PBB house after receiving three nomination points from Martinez and River Joseph (AZVer). Martinez explained that Etrata’s discussions about the outside world were considered a violation of house rules and influenced their decision.
In a June 20 interview on 24 Oras, Etrata acknowledged the pain but said she has forgiven Martinez. “I did feel betrayed, but I have a big heart to forgive. We’ve started to reconnect,” she shared.
Despite being eliminated, Etrata and other evicted housemates returned briefly for house challenges, testing the remaining contestants’ potential to make the Big 4. Etrata described the experience as emotional, admitting she still hopes to mend things with Martinez once the show ends.
She encouraged fans to “spread love, not hate,” expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support she received. “I only realized how much support I had after I left. I still carry guilt for our nomination,” she admitted, believing her actions led to their team’s eviction.
The remaining duos in the PBB house are AZVer, DusBi (Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera), RaWi (Will Ashley and Ralph de Leon), CharEs (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo), and MikBrent (Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo).
