Ivana Alawi has joined the viral Cleopatra makeup trend, dazzling fans with her transformation into the iconic Egyptian queen. Despite recent controversies involving her name, the actress and content creator captivated her followers with a TikTok video posted on June 3, showcasing dramatic gold accessories and a fringe hairstyle typical of Cleopatra-inspired looks.
The video quickly went viral, amassing over 5 million views and 800,000 likes on TikTok.
Alawi has previously participated in other TikTok challenges, including the popular “Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas” and “Habibi” makeup trends.
However, as her social media presence remains strong, Alawi has chosen to remain silent on allegations linking her to an alleged affair with producer-politician Albee Benitez. The controversy resurfaced after her name appeared in a violence against women and children (VAWC) complaint filed by Benitez’s wife, Dominique “Nikki” Lopez-Benitez.
Benitez has denied the accusations, calling them “baseless and retaliatory” through his legal counsel.
Alawi has yet to release a statement about the issue but previously denied romantic ties with Benitez in 2024, clarifying that he was a friend and that she was dating a “respectable businessman, not a politician.”
