Amid swirling rumors of a split between Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao, actress Ara Mina assured the public that her sister is “doing fine” and capable of handling the situation with maturity.
During her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on June 2, Ara Mina refrained from confirming or denying the breakup but emphasized her support for Cristine. “She’s mature enough and knows what she’s doing,” Ara said, adding that her family remains a constant source of strength for Cristine.
Ara shared that Cristine often confides in her and that she offers advice while leaving the final decisions up to her sister. “Whatever I know stays with me. I’m not the right person to disclose what’s really going on between them,” she added.
Ara also revealed that Cristine had been there for her after her own recent loss in the 2025 midterm elections.
Reflecting on relationships, Ara said, “I believe that if you’re meant for each other, you’ll find your way back. And even if you part ways, you can still remain friends.”
Cristine and Marco, who confirmed their relationship in 2023, stirred breakup speculation in April 2025 when netizens noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. While they have since followed each other again, many of their past photos together appear to have been removed.
