Social media personality and singer Meiko Montefalco was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during a Facebook Live session where she emotionally confronted the unfolding infidelity of her husband, Patrick Bernardino.
According to her friend Isabelle King, Meiko had not eaten or slept for two days, overwhelmed by the betrayal she continued to uncover. During the live broadcast on her second account, Meiko broke down in tears before passing out. She was immediately taken to the emergency room, where tests confirmed extreme exhaustion as the cause.
Following her hospitalization, Meiko announced she’s taking a break from social media to focus on recovery and gathering evidence. She thanked her followers for their support and said she’s determined to hold those involved accountable.
Despite a previous reconciliation attempt for the sake of their children, Meiko now says the relationship is definitively over after new revelations and a reported confession from Patrick. The couple married in January 2024 and share two sons.
While many have sympathized with Meiko, some online have urged her to handle the situation privately to avoid further public scrutiny.
