Speculation began after a photo of the two posing in front of a luxury car—Rodriguez holding a bouquet—circulated online just days before local elections. Despite the buzz, neither Rodriguez nor the 63-year-old actor-turned-politician has confirmed or denied the relationship.
Instead, Rodriguez took to TikTok, lip-syncing to Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love, highlighting the lyrics: “I don’t care what they say, I’m in love with you…” In another video, she joked, “I finished my studies, but because of love, I became foolish. I don’t even know the Tagalog for ‘I don’t know.’”
Rodriguez kept the tone humorous in the comments, replying “Pikit 😂” (Close your eyes) to one user and praising another’s username while brushing off remarks about being “fresh” thanks to “Gov Daniel’s care.”
While many netizens speculated, others defended Rodriguez, pointing out that there’s nothing controversial if the two are indeed dating, as Fernando is single.
