Actress Bea Alonzo fueled ongoing romance rumors with businessman Vincent Co after making a public appearance at a retail convention hosted by his family’s supermarket chain, where he serves as president.
The event took place on May 16 at the World Trade Center, and while Co maintained a low profile, Alonzo attended as a guest celebrity for a featured brand. The actress did not answer questions about her rumored relationship.
Speculation about the pair began in April after they were spotted together at several events. A photo of them holding hands recently surfaced on Co’s private Instagram account, which Alonzo “liked” and commented on with a smiley emoji. The two were also seen traveling together at a Thai airport.
Vincent Co is the son of billionaire tycoon Lucio Co and his wife Susan, the founders of the Puregold retail empire.
Also present at the convention were celebrity couple Coco Martin and Julia Montes, as well as Ian Veneracion and socialite Small Laude. On the same day, a press event was held for the upcoming series Si Sol at si Luna.
Alonzo’s previous engagement to actor Dominic Roque ended in a quiet split. Roque has since confirmed a new relationship with actress Sue Ramirez, with the couple saying they’re “happy” together.
