Actress Yassi Pressman is celebrating her boyfriend Luigi Villafuerte’s successful run for Congress, as he clinched the representative seat for Camarines Sur’s 2nd District in the 2025 local elections.
On Instagram Stories, Pressman posted a sweet photo of Villafuerte kissing her on the cheek after his proclamation, writing: “You have the biggest, most genuine heart to serve… I never doubted you. Congratulations, bubba!”
The couple, who voted together on election day, had earlier gone viral when netizens compared their voting photos to a pre-wedding shoot. Despite the buzz, their relationship has continued to gain attention since it was confirmed in early 2024, following Pressman’s split from ex-fiancé Jon Semira.
Pressman and Villafuerte celebrated their first anniversary in September 2024. Villafuerte, previously governor of Camarines Sur, now steps into the congressional role previously held by his father, Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte—who has, in turn, returned as provincial governor. The Villafuertes maintained political dominance in the province with several wins in the 2025 elections.
Elsewhere, Maine Mendoza also shared her pride as husband Arjo Atayde secured a second term as congressman of Quezon City’s 1st District, thanking their constituents in an Instagram post.
