
Senator Bong Go has strengthened his frontrunner status in the 2025 senatorial race, pulling further ahead in the latest Pulse Asia survey released on May 5.
Conducted from April 20 to 24, the survey shows Go topping the list with a 62.2% voter preference rating—an increase from 61.9% in March. In contrast, ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo slipped from 51.1% to 42.4%, widening the gap between the top two contenders.
Others within the statistical range of clinching a Senate seat include:

- Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (35.6%)
- Former Senator Panfilo Lacson (33.8%)

- Senator Lito Lapid (32.2%)
- Makati Mayor Abby Binay (30.2%)
- Senator Pia Cayetano (29.9%)
- TV host Willie Revillame (28.6%)
- Rep. Camille Villar (28.3%)
- Former Senator Manny Pacquiao (28.3%)
- Former Senator Bam Aquino (25.4%)
Go is the only candidate in the top 12 who saw an increase in support compared to the previous month.
The Pulse Asia survey polled 2,400 respondents aged 18 and above. It has a ±2% national margin of error, with higher margins for subnational breakdowns such as Metro Manila (±6%), Luzon (±3%), and both Visayas and Mindanao (±4%).
