Actor-host Buboy Villar is facing serious allegations from his former partner, Angillyn Gorens, who accused him of repeated infidelity, verbal and physical abuse, and lack of financial support for their children.
In a lengthy Facebook post on March 26, Gorens opened up about the painful reasons behind their split. She claimed Villar physically hurt her on multiple occasions, including during arguments and when he was intoxicated—sometimes in front of their child. Screenshots of messages from 2018 and photos of bruises were included in her post.
Gorens also accused Villar of becoming increasingly violent, to the point where she feared for her life. She said she finally decided to leave him after years of enduring abuse, including an incident where he allegedly crashed their car during a fight while she and their children were inside.
She disputed Villar’s public image of being a caring father, saying he rarely visits their kids, Vlanz and George, and spends only a day with them. Gorens added that since the birth of Villar’s new baby with girlfriend Isay Sampiano, his support—both emotional and financial—has dwindled further.
She also expressed dismay over the kids being featured in Villar’s vlogs without her consent, especially when it exposes them to negative comments online. She said her parents stepped in to support the children financially during times when Villar didn’t provide for nearly two years.
Responding to speculation that she left Villar over money issues, Gorens said she stayed for the sake of their family despite the abuse. “I forgave him so many times, hoping he would change. But he never did.”
Gorens shared that even Villar’s stepfather had hurt her, and that things only worsened the longer she stayed. “It hurt to leave him, but I had to. I was afraid he might eventually kill me,” she said.
As of writing, Buboy Villar has not issued a response to these allegations.
