Despite her breakup with former Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, Kris Aquino remains close to his son, Ronin, who recently paid her a heartwarming visit along with his girlfriend, Andrea Macaraig.
Ronin shared the visit on Facebook, describing Kris—whom he fondly calls “Tita Kris”—as incredibly gracious even while feeling unwell. “She prepared dinner for us herself and even served the best lechon from Tarlac,” he said, referring to Kris as their “future Ninang.”
He emphasized that though Kris and his father didn’t work out romantically, they remained good friends and parted on positive terms. “Our love for Tita Kris, Bimb, and Kuya Josh will never fade,” he added.
During their stay, the bond was evident, as they all stayed in the same room together. Ronin also revealed that Kris funded an e-library in Lian, Batangas—where he serves as vice mayor—a gesture he’s deeply grateful for.
“We continue to pray for your recovery,” Ronin wrote in his message to Kris. “Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for our family. We’re always so happy to see you smile.”
Kris Aquino, currently battling multiple autoimmune diseases, ended her relationship with Leviste in 2023 and recently separated from Dr. Mike Padlan in February.
