Actress and entrepreneur Neri Naig has broken her silence weeks after Pasay courts dismissed the syndicated estafa and securities violations filed against her. On Instagram, she shared her emotional journey and reflections on the case that stemmed from her past involvement with Dermacare Beyond Skin Care Solutions.
Alongside photos of her arrest in November 2024, Neri expressed disbelief at being labeled a scammer and included on the country’s “Most Wanted” list. “I’ve always been out in the open, not hiding,” she wrote. “I go to markets, give talks, I’ve always been visible—not just online.”
Though she said the time will come for her to share the full story, Neri described the ordeal as a nightmare. Despite the pain, she chose silence over bitterness. “I refuse to let anger or hurt define me,” she said.
Grateful for those who stood by her, she added, “Some people rejoiced in my lowest moment, but many of you defended me, supported me, and lifted me up. You were my angels in this storm.”
She also credited her husband, Chito Miranda, for being her rock throughout the ordeal. “Your love gave me hope when I couldn’t see it. You reminded me that there’s still kindness in the world.”
Neri clarified that while she may not have been wise in the situation, she has never scammed or stolen from anyone. She also reiterated that she ended ties with Dermacare in 2023, a company flagged by the SEC for unauthorized investment solicitations.
