
NorthPort’s Arvin Tolentino has earned his first Best Player of the Conference (BPC) award in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, capping a standout performance throughout the tournament.
The award was announced Friday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo before Game 4 of the Finals between TNT and Barangay Ginebra. Tolentino amassed 1,072 points from statistics and media and player votes. He led NorthPort with 23.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game, contributing to their 9-3 finish in the eliminations and a semifinal run.
Tolentino edged out tough competitors, including June Mar Fajardo (San Miguel), Jordan Heading (Converge), Calvin Oftana (TNT), and Robert Bolick (NLEX).
Meanwhile, TNT’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson claimed his third Best Import award, adding to his titles from the 2023 and 2024 Governors’ Cups. RHJ finished the semis with impressive averages of 28.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game, tallying 1,280 points in the final vote.
He bested NorthPort’s Kadeem Jack, Ginebra’s Justin Brownlee, and Rain or Shine’s Deon Thompson to secure the award once again.
