Sam Milby has spoken up about the emotional moment when his ex-fiancée, Catriona Gray, was seen crying during TJ Monterde’s concert.
During his guest appearance on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on Monday, Milby admitted that the situation was difficult for him, especially since they were seated just a few seats apart.
“It was such a beautiful concert, but it was really hard. A woman that I still love and care about… I see a few seats away from me crying,” he shared. “I didn’t know how to react.”
While some assumed he had already moved on since he appeared composed in the viral video, Milby clarified that he was far from comfortable.
“If people thought I was okay, I was the complete opposite. It wasn’t easy at all,” he added.
A Painful Breakup
Earlier in the interview, Milby admitted he has been struggling with their split, which he confirmed in February 2025. Fighting back tears, he declined to share further details, saying the breakup has been rough for him.
Milby and Gray began dating in 2020 and got engaged in 2023. However, breakup rumors started circulating when Gray deleted their engagement photos from Instagram last year.
Moving Forward
Despite the heartbreak, Milby is staying busy with his career. He currently stars in the romantic comedy Everything About My Wife alongside Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo.
