A convoy allegedly linked to Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Rommel Marbil was caught using the EDSA busway in Ortigas on Tuesday, claiming an “emergency” as the reason for bypassing traffic.
In an exclusive GMA Integrated News video, a police officer from the convoy was heard requesting clearance, stating that Marbil needed to reach Camp Crame urgently. The Department of Transportation-Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (DOTr-SAICT) attempted to issue a traffic violation ticket, but the convoy quickly fled.
However, one vehicle later returned and was issued a ticket.
