MANILA, Philippines – Actress Nadine Lustre has publicly endorsed former Senator Leila de Lima and the Mamamayang Liberal (ML) party-list for the upcoming May 2025 mid-term elections.
In a video release and social media posts on Thursday, Lustre expressed her support for de Lima, calling her a symbol of resilience and justice after spending years in detention under the previous administration.
“Real talk. Sawa na ba kayo? Sawa na sa mga abusado sa kapangyarihan?” Lustre said in her campaign message, criticizing government corruption and lack of accountability.
She also urged voters to support ML party-list, which she described as a group fighting for justice, accountability, and genuine representation.
Standing with De Lima and ML Party-List
De Lima is the lead nominee of Mamamayang Liberal (ML) party-list, alongside former Representatives Teddy Baguilat and Erin Tañada.

“Manay Leila de Lima, ilang taong kinulong nang walang kasalanan, pero lumaban.” Lustre said, commending de Lima’s perseverance.
This endorsement aligns with Lustre’s previous support for former Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2022 presidential elections, further cementing her reputation as a politically engaged celebrity.
With Lustre’s star power, the ML party-list hopes to mobilize young and progressive voters ahead of the midterm elections.
