Actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista affirmed that the only cosmetic procedure she has undergone is lip enhancement, stressing that the rest of her face is “all real.”
In a lighthearted video shared on her Instagram page, Evangelista addressed the topic after one of her staff showed an old photo of her from a teen magazine.
“Lips lang ‘yung naiba. Lips lang ‘yung pinagawa ko,” she said, laughing. (Only my lips changed. That’s all I had done.)
“I’m Telling the Truth”
Evangelista candidly shared that she’s willing to go to great lengths to prove her statement to skeptics.
“Ayaw nila maniwala sa akin… Pupunta talaga ako sa doctor. Magpapa-xray ako—I don’t know how they can prove,” she joked. (They don’t want to believe me… I’ll go to a doctor and get an x-ray. I don’t know how else they’ll believe.)
The actress reiterated her honesty, pointing again to her lips, and said, “Hindi talaga. Mamatay man, seryoso. Ito lang talaga.” (Really, I swear on my life, it’s just my lips.)
Traumatizing Experience
This is not the first time Evangelista has been open about her lip enhancement journey. In 2024, she revealed that she once had lip fillers done by a close friend who was unlicensed to perform the procedure. The experience left her traumatized after her lips turned out uneven.
Despite her candidness, Evangelista has maintained her signature poise and humor, even as fans continue to admire her timeless beauty and sense of style.
