Actress Barbie Imperial shared her thoughts on focusing on what truly matters, amidst her rumored relationship with actor Richard Gutierrez.
In a now-expired Instagram Story, Imperial spoke about avoiding distractions from “inconsequential and petty things,” emphasizing the importance of pursuing lasting values. She included a Bible verse to underline her message.
“Every day when you get up, you need to remind yourself what counts and what doesn’t count. Don’t be distracted by what’s inconsequential and petty in life… When you live in the light of eternity, you realize that the small things you’re worrying about aren’t going to matter in eternity,” her post read.
Rumored Romance With Gutierrez
Imperial’s post comes shortly after Gutierrez addressed their relationship during an interview with Ogie Diaz. He denied allegations that his estranged wife, Sarah Lahbati, and Imperial were involved in any “overlapping” situations.
“Ang gusto ko lang sigurong i-clarify doon sa mga tao is that si Barbie walang kinalaman sa paghihiwalay namin ni Sarah. Hindi siya third party, hindi nag-overlap (I just want to clarify that Barbie had nothing to do with my separation from Sarah. She’s not a third party. There was no overlap),” Gutierrez said.
The rumored couple first sparked dating rumors in early 2024 when they were seen together at a gastropub in Alabang. They have since been spotted on multiple occasions, including a trip to South Korea and behind-the-scenes moments from Gutierrez’s series Incognito.
Gutierrez praised Imperial, describing her as “real, good, and genuine.”
“Si Barbie kasi totoong tao, mabuting tao, maalaga. Makikita mo na genuine ‘yung intentions niya, genuine ‘yung pagkatao niya (Barbie is a real person. She’s good, caring, and has genuine intentions),” he shared.
