
A fire broke out early Saturday morning in a residential-commercial structure at the corner of M.F. Jocson and S.H. Loyola Streets in Sampaloc, Manila.
Fire Details
The blaze, which started before 5:00 a.m., involved a two-storey building made of light materials. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the alarm to the third level, mobilizing:
- 8 fire resources from the BFP
- 25 fire trucks from the local government and volunteer groups
The fire was declared under control at 6:23 a.m., but as of now, there has been no report of casualties.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities are investigating the fire’s cause and assessing the extent of property damage.
