
Actress Lovi Poe shared her firsthand experience of the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, California, expressing heartbreak over the devastation while staying at her U.S. home.
Through an Instagram post on Monday, January 13, Poe shared a video showing smoke from the wildfires and helicopters in the sky.
“The fires have hit LA hard, and it’s tough seeing so much loss. I’ve been watching the sky and hearing helicopters flying back and forth,” she wrote. “In times of devastation, like the one we’re witnessing, it’s hard to find the right words.”
Community Resilience
Despite the destruction, Poe highlighted the resilience of the community.
“It’s a reminder that even in the hardest times, we’re never alone. Even in the darkest times, the city will rebuild and shine again, stronger than before,” she said.
She also posted another video capturing the smoke as she drove along a nearby road.

Filipino celebrity Iñigo Pascual, who also resides in Los Angeles, shared that his family had to evacuate their home due to the wildfires.
Several Hollywood stars, including Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, Anthony Hopkins, and Billy Crystal, were also affected, with some reportedly losing their homes to the disaster.
