Actress Ellen Adarna didn’t hold back when responding to netizens who criticized her family’s Christmas photo featuring her husband Derek Ramsay and their children, Elias and Liana.
Adarna shared the festive photo on Instagram, where the family posed in front of a giant Christmas tree. Adarna and the children wore red tops, while Ramsay sported a green long-sleeved shirt. To protect the youngest child’s privacy, the baby’s face was covered with an emoji.
One commenter questioned Ramsay’s outfit, asking why he didn’t wear red. Adarna sharply responded, “Paskong pasko omg nangingialam kaa!!! F*ck off.” (It’s Christmas, and oh my god, you’re meddling with our business. Get lost.)
Another netizen asked why the baby’s face was covered. Adarna replied, “To avoid evil eye,” referencing the superstitious belief that a gaze, whether intentional or not, can bring negative energy, illness, or bad luck.
A Private Family Life
Adarna and Ramsay, who began dating in January 2021 and tied the knot in November of the same year, welcomed their first child together in October 2024. The couple kept Adarna’s pregnancy under wraps, with the actress explaining, “I just didn’t announce because I don’t want unsolicited advice.”
Adarna also shares her eldest son Elias with ex-partner John Lloyd Cruz, with whom she maintains a co-parenting arrangement. She has praised Cruz as a responsible and devoted father.
