In a video shared by singer Christian Bautista, Alcantara was asked to sign an old photo of herself from her Annaliza days in 2013. Surprised by the image, she humorously debunked the cheekbone enhancement claims, saying:
“Sa mga nagsasabi po nagparetoke po ako ng cheekbones, tignan n’yo po sobra-sobra pa po ‘yung cheekbones. Gusto ko na bawasan.” (To those saying I had my cheekbones done, just look, they’re so prominent I’d want to reduce them.)
In 2022, Alcantara similarly denied rumors about having rhinoplasty in a vlog, saying:
“Dahil sa mga childhood pictures ko, akala ng iba na nagparetoke ako… wala po ’yang filler. And especially my nose. Even the bridge of my nose.” (Because of my childhood pictures, people think I had work done… there are no fillers, and especially not on my nose.)
The Shining Inheritance star revealed she had declined offers for cosmetic enhancements in the past, although she emphasized respect for anyone who chooses to undergo such procedures.

Content creator Chloe San Jose joined the conversation by sharing her childhood photos on Facebook, humorously calling that period her “best era.” Her post celebrated her natural hair, button nose, and carefree life.
When asked by a follower if she had undergone a nose job, San Jose responded:
“Nope, I’ve never gotten my nose or anything done—IT’S ALL NATURAL. I think nakuha lang sa kakapisil when I was younger, haha.” (I think it’s just from pinching it when I was younger, haha.)
San Jose previously made headlines for a family-related dispute involving her boyfriend, gymnast Carlos Yulo, and his relatives, but she has since kept a low profile regarding personal matters.
