Maine Mendoza was praised for her generosity after gifting each member of “Eat Bulaga’s” Singing Queens a pair of designer shoes from luxury brand Jimmy Choo.
The Singing Queens— a group of female singers featured on the noontime show—shared videos and photos of the heartwarming moment on their Instagram pages on December 16. Mendoza later reposted the clips to her Instagram Stories with the caption: “Fave season coz I love being Santa.”
One member, Sammy, expressed her gratitude, recalling how she used to watch Mendoza on TV and fangirl over her. “From ‘Gayahin ko nga mga videos ni Yaya Dub’ to ‘Thank you sa gifts, Ate Maine.’ I love you forever, Ate Menggay cutie!” Sammy wrote.
This isn’t the first time Maine has shown her thoughtfulness. In June 2024, Mendoza surprised her fellow “Eat Bulaga” host Ryzza Mae Dizon with a designer bag for her 19th birthday.
Maine Mendoza rose to fame in 2015 through “Eat Bulaga’s” “Kalyeserye” segment, where she played the role of Yaya Dub and was paired with Alden Richards, forming the popular love team AlDub.
