Despite facing legal battles, Chito Miranda, frontman of Parokya ni Edgar, reaffirmed his unwavering love for his wife, Neri Naig, as they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
In an emotional Instagram post, Miranda expressed gratitude for having Naig in his life, describing her as an example of strength and kindness despite facing challenges.
“After 10 years of being married, I can really say that I love you more now than I did before. I’m so thankful to God for blessing me with someone as wonderful, loving, and sweet as you. You are living proof that one can go through hell and back and still choose to be kind,” he wrote.
A Promise of Devotion
Miranda also pledged to remain by Naig’s side, emphasizing his commitment to their family.
“Our children are blessed to have you as their mom, and I’m lucky to have you in my life. I will always take care of you, protect you, and love you until we grow old. I will always be with you through thick and thin, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part,” he said.
Legal Challenges
Last month, Naig was arrested and detained at the Pasay City Jail female dormitory over charges of syndicated estafa linked to her endorsement of a troubled dermatological company. On December 4, a Pasay court ordered her release after partially granting her motion to quash. Naig’s release papers were served while she was in the hospital for a medical evaluation.
Despite these legal troubles, Miranda continues to show his steadfast support for his wife.
