Bea Alonzo: “Marriage Is Not Everyone’s Endgame”

Actress Bea Alonzo opened up about her views on marriage, emphasizing that it should not be considered the ultimate goal for everyone. In an interview aired on GMA’s Saksi on December 6, Alonzo shared that while she remains open to love, she’s enjoying her single life and embracing the idea of different paths in life.

“Hindi naman marriage ‘yung laging endgame ng lahat. You know, maybe when you have different paths, you have different destinies and faiths,” she said.

A Shift in Perspective

Reflecting on her journey, the actress noted that she would be happy if marriage comes her way, but she’s at peace with whatever life has in store for her.

“If it happens, I’ll be happy, but it doesn’t mean that I would beat myself up if it doesn’t happen,” she added.

From Broken Engagement to New Beginnings

Alonzo’s views come after the end of her engagement to actor Dominic Roque, who proposed to her in July 2023. The couple officially parted ways in February 2024.

Roque is now rumored to be dating actress Sue Ramirez, with the two spotted sharing a moment in Siargao. Ramirez has described her time with Roque as enjoyable but has not confirmed their relationship status.

Meanwhile, Alonzo was recently seen with a mystery man on her Instagram Story in November. However, she clarified that they’re just friends.

Living Life on Her Terms

The actress continues to focus on her personal growth and happiness, reminding her fans that life’s purpose goes beyond societal expectations.
