Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards made a dazzling appearance on the red carpet of the 2024 Asian World Film Festival in Culver City, California, promoting their latest film Hello, Love, Again.
The pair turned heads, with Bernardo wearing a light blue, sleeveless high-neck dress, while Richards sported a dark blue checkered suit. Photos of their red-carpet moment were shared on the Instagram pages of Star Cinema and GMA Pictures, garnering significant buzz and making the hashtag #KATHDENxAWFF2024 trend on X (formerly Twitter).
Star-Studded Attendance
The event also saw the attendance of other cast members from the much-anticipated sequel, including Valerie Concepcion, Ruby Rodriguez, Kevin Kreider, Mark LaBella Marc, and Marvin Aritrangco.
The film, which premiered in Philippine cinemas on November 13 and has earned ₱520 million as of November 18, serves as the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Hello, Love, Goodbye. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the story picks up Joy and Ethan’s journey five years later.
A Historic Milestone
Hello, Love, Again made history as the first Filipino film to break into the Top 10 films in the United States, ranking eighth. It also served as the closing film for the international festival, which featured notable movies such as In the Mood for Love (Hong Kong), The Wrestler (Bangladesh), Meeting with Pol Pot (Cambodia), and Lost Ladies (India).
Currently, the romance drama is showing in 1,100 cinemas across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, further solidifying its global success.
