Kris Aquino Expresses Gratitude as Son Josh Recovers from COVID-19

Kris Aquino has shared her relief and gratitude after her eldest son, Josh, recovered from a recent bout with COVID-19.

The TV personality, known as the “Queen of All Media,” opened up about the ordeal through her Instagram Stories, thanking an anonymous sender for a bouquet of flowers left for her during what she described as a “stressful time.”

“I was no longer in the hospital, but this was left for me… Whoever you are, thank you. Your thoughtful gesture is much appreciated during a stressful time,” Aquino wrote.

Josh’s Recovery and Family Concerns

Aquino revealed that her son Josh, who previously contracted COVID-19 in 2022, tested positive for the virus again. This development caused significant worry for the family, especially since her younger son, Bimby, was exposed, and Aquino herself is vulnerable due to her health conditions.

“We were all freaked that I could also have COVID,” she admitted. Aquino, who is battling six autoimmune diseases, noted her immune system is weaker than before.

Fortunately, Josh has since tested negative, and Aquino extended her gratitude to those who took care of him during his illness. It remains unclear whether Bimby contracted the virus.

Aquino’s Health Journey and Return to the Philippines

Aquino returned to the Philippines in September after over two years of medical treatment in the United States. She has been candid about her ongoing health challenges, including worsening symptoms that required isolation.

Despite her struggles, Aquino recently announced plans to launch a new show before the end of the year, signaling her determination to remain active in her career.

With Josh’s recovery and her own resilience, Aquino continues to focus on family and work, offering a message of gratitude and hope amid life’s challenges.
