Kris Aquino is preparing for a much-anticipated return to television, according to her close friend and TV writer Darla Sauler. Sauler shared her excitement on Instagram after a dinner with Kris and her youngest son, Bimby, saying she’s “excited to see her back in action.”
While Sauler didn’t reveal specific details, Kris previously hinted at a new show set to premiere before the year’s end. She thanked her former ABS-CBN bosses for supporting her project, adding that the show will feature her, Bimby, her long-time friends, and her team of doctors, who have become close to her over the years.
Aquino, who returned to the Philippines in September after more than two years of treatment for autoimmune diseases in the United States, appears ready to step back into the spotlight.
